Witty, sexy and intelligent spy thriller is lot of fun as we try to figure out (before Fassbender does) who in the agency is the traitor. Blanchett and Fassbender are great, seemingly mistrusting each other while remaining completely in love (and lust), and all the machinations between the supporting characters are very enticing. It's all very high-class and entertaining... until you stop to think about it for two seconds. The overall plot and characters are completely ridiculous - what kind of intelligence agency would allow everyone to sleep with everyone else, and although we expect these things to be ridiculous, the overall McGuffin is far beyond any sense whatsoever. Filmmaking is extremely slick and tightly wound. Very solid but minor Soderbergh.
